Fibre Middle East Fall Prevention Devices (FPD) are designed and developed to conform with the latest IMO/MSC 1327 guidelines.
Our FPD strops are manufactured using latest space age synthetic high strength fibres which have high tenacity & low elongation properties.
Strength is significantly higher than steel & corresponding weight is seven times lower. The rope has high levels of UV, abrasion and chemical resistance.
The Strops are fitted with thimbles at both ends, allowing simple & easy fitting of FPD Strops to floating block master link and release hook maintenance pendant via shackles.
Not required for use with freefall or open lifeboats.
